They put up new shelving in my bedroom, painted most of the house, put in a new laminate kitchen floor and fixed floors, walls and ceilings that had water damage. Needed a place to crash since I had an early flight out of Frankfurt after a long train ride. The bathroom is tiny, blowdryer very weak, toiletries limited to an all-in-one wash. All the hotel amenities are closed because of Covid (come on now, they ask everyone to show proof of vaccination!). There is no coffee maker and when I asked for a kettle and a cup for tea they gave me a broken kettle.

This was my first stay in the hotel since the outbreak of the Corona. Previously I stayed once early 2019 a month after the hotel was opened, and again just before the outbreak of the epidemy early 2020. My previous evaluation of the excellent price/value ratio is still valid, in spite of the rather minor adaptations which were made due to the regulatory restrictions.
They did all of this work over about two months for me and each time they came they were courteous and friendly. Hotel is located right next to the main train station. This gives everyone a good access to public transport, shops, offices as well as to the pubs and restaurants from the area. I could not observe mere cost-cutting measures due to the difficult times hotels are confronted with. Tthe economic impact of the pandemic might have caused some deterioration of the environment in the Bahnhof area. We offer quality and affordable painting services. We are a family owned business run by three generations. 2 - Breakfast timings are ridiculous - only till 9.30 am!! You are reminded 2-3 times every day at breakfast that it will end at 9.30!
